The method involves filling a medium (1) from a tank (2) into a single container (3) within a filling time under filling pressure, where the medium exhibits a temperature dependent viscosity. The medium flows with a flow rate from the tank into the single container. The flow rate of the medium is adjusted via a throttle (6) in dependent of the measured temperature of the medium. Filling pressure is adjusted in dependent of the measured temperature. The medium is conveyed from the tank into the single container via a pump or a piston.
