Motor vehicle seat, has cutting point provided between door-lateral locking adjustment fitting and connecting shaft, where cutting point is deactivated during locking of door-lateral adjustment fitting
The seat has a backrest connected flexibly at both sides with a seat part by a door-lateral locking adjustment fitting (3) and a channel-lateral locking adjustment fitting. Torque introduced into the fitting (3) is transferred to the channel-lateral adjustment fitting by a connecting shaft (4). A cutting point for transmission of torque is provided between the fitting (3) and the connecting shaft. The cutting point is deactivated during locking of fitting (3). A coupling lever (5) is supported tiltably at a torque-proof bearing lever (7) that is connected to the fitting (3).
