The generator has a belt pulley (8) including a resin member (80) with a torque receiving section that receives a drive torque, where an outer surface of an iron member (82) of the belt pulley is fitted on an inner surface of the resin member. The iron member has a concave-convex section (82e) that extends on the outer surface of the iron member along a peripheral direction of the iron member in such a manner that the concave-convex section is fitted on the inner surface of the resin member.
