The assembly (1) has a gear assembly region group (4) comprising a planetary drive that is driven by an output shaft (6) of a gearbox (3), where the gearbox and the region group are arranged in a gear housing (8). A bearing unit is designed as a rolling bearing and arranged in a transition region between the gearbox and the region group. A collar portion is arranged at a supporting portion of the gear housing, and extends in an axial direction. The collar portion forms a contact surface at a radial inside for the bearing unit that comprises a non-cutting outer ring i.e. roller case. The gear housing is designed as an aluminum die cast metal housing.
