The device (7) has bearing inner rings (3, 4) and bearing outer rings (10, 11) including a contour that is arranged in such a manner that the balls (8, 9) of the ball bearings (5, 6) are axially arranged between collars (12, 14) of the bearing inner rings and collars (13, 15) of the bearing outer rings. The ball bearings are arranged closer to a radial bearing and an axial bearing of components e.g. idle gears, and a shaft (1) is integrated in the bearing inner rings that are formed by a correspondingly designed contour of the shaft.
