for performing a non-linear calibration of a signal path, by: 1) determining (202) a set of frequency points for a set of particular noise signals of the output resulting from the application of single frequency and two frequency input signals covering a bandwidth of the signal path of interest ; 2) developing (204) a spectral map based on a set of frequency points for predistorting signals in the frequency domain that are input to or received from the signal path in the time domain; and 3) storing (206) the spectral map to perform a non-linear calibration of the signal path.
