Servo steering system, particularly electromechanical steering system for vehicle, has steering wheel for inputting driver command for steering, and measuring unit is provided for measuring driver command
The servo steering system has a steering wheel (1) for inputting a driver command for the steering. A measuring unit is provided for measuring the driver command. A servo motor (9) is provided, which is connected with wheels (11) by drive unit. A correction unit is provided in a controller (12). The correction unit modifies the measured or evaluated value of the driver command. The change of the drive input is counteracted by the cardan joint malfunctioning of the cardan joint (7). An independent claim is included for a method for reducing cardan joint malfunctioning in a servo steering system of a vehicle.
