The clutch (2) has an external disk carrier (26) comprising a support part (42) for radially supporting a tubular disk carrier section (28). The disk carrier section surrounds a disk area (66) with an opening (70) that points into an axial direction (10). Disks are inserted into the disk carrier section through the opening. A mechanical clutch actuator (76) actuates a disk package (32) formed by the disks. The clutch actuator is arranged at a side (74) of the support part turned away from the disk area. The clutch actuator is partially accommodated in an actuator housing (102).
