The vehicle has a wheeled frame provided with a conveying unit that comprises a set of conveying unit disposed above and beside one another. A bridging conveyor system has a bridging conveyor (217) and a guide system for extending the conveyor from the vehicle into an aeroplane (231) by the guide system. The conveyor is built up of number of conveying components which are pivotable relative to each other in two perpendicular directions.
