The device has blocking and unblocking units for blocking and unblocking sliding of an object supporting platform (10). A handle (24) is moved between blocking and unblocking positions in which it prevents and authorizes movement of the platform, respectively, where the handle tows the platform in the unblocking position. The handle is pivotingly mounted for its movement between the blocking and unblocking positions. A shutter (28) is mounted at the platform by a hinge (30) made of flexible material e.g. textile material. The platform has a vertical wall (14) extending upwards.
