The device has a maintaining finger maintaining a piece e.g. rear license plate light, in a structure i.e. panel, and an elastic locking unit locking the piece by elastic extended movement after introducing the piece in a cut. A metal frame (5) is formed with a metal wire surrounding the piece in its part to be introduced in the cut. The frame has an extension (5a) surrounding the maintaining finger, and another extension (5b) placed behind an elastic element of the locking unit with respect to corresponding edge of the structure, where the frame slides along the piece.
