The device (4) has a tubular air conduit (20) for permitting air flow, and comprising, at its ends, an air inlet (22) that is in communication with a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle (2). The conduit includes, at its ends, an air outlet (24) that is in communication with outer side. The conduit includes a deformable section deformed in a direction of length of the conduit in a manner to regulate the length of the conduit. A grid (26) is fixed across air outlet of the conduit.
