The assembly (10) has a duct (11) for maintaining a bundle of cables along a carcass element of a motor vehicle. Throttle valves (12, 13) integrated to the duct, where each valve is provided for blocking holes serving to circulate paint in a hollow body during cataphoresis of the carcass element. The valves are constituted by fixation units fixing the duct on the carcass element, where the duct is realized by a steel sheet or plastic material. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a throttle valve and duct assembly on a carcass element.
