The station (10) has a transfer path (11) guiding and driving vehicles (C). The path includes an arrival section connected to a departure section by a bypass section. A rotating segment (25) is moved between two positions, in which the vehicles are supplied to an exit path (27) of the bypass section and to the garage path, respectively. A garage path (37) is arranged outside the bypass section. A gear motor respectively positions ends (25a, 25b) of the segment with respect to a garage path and an entry path (26) of the bypass section, in the position of supplying the vehicles to the path (37).
