The method involves receiving data associated to an identifier of a recipient, and determining a data transmission context at the recipient, where the context represents an identifier of data transmitter, time stamping of the data, data content, channel access for user, and priority of the channel. Reception channel associated to the recipient is selected based on the context. The data is transmitted on the selected reception channel and the data is formatted based on the transmission channel on which the data is transmitted, during the transmission of the data. An independent claim is also included for a device for routing a data to be transmitted to a recipient associated to the reception channels, comprising a data receiving unit.
