PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for preventing a degradation of analytical sensitivity attributable to chemical noise or degradation of ionization efficiency due to trace substances mixed in a solvent or existing in a laboratory environment in an analysis of protein and so on, using LC-MS.;SOLUTION: A solvent feeder 1 for a liquid chromatograph mass spectrometer includes a suction nozzle 13 inserted into a reagent bottle 2 through a metallic foil sealing a mouth thereof to suck in a solvent, the reagent bottle 2 accommodating the solvent used as a mobile phase of the liquid chromatograph mass spectrometer, a vacuum cap 14 abutted against the mouth of the reagent bottle 2 to cover the mouth and having a pierced hole through which the suction nozzle 13 to be inserted into the reagent bottle 2 is inserted, and a vacuum pump connected to this vacuum cap 14 to suck in air from a space formed between the vacuum cap 14 covering the mouth of the reagent bottle 2 and the metallic foil.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
