PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new high molecular compound in which intensity of fluorescence is increased at low pH, and a fluorescent probe having the same.;SOLUTION: The high molecular compound has a fluorescent dye sensitive to a hydrophobic environment. When pH around the high molecular compound is reduced, a secondary structure is changed from a random coil to a helix within a range of a pH of 5.5 to 7.4, and hydrophobicity around the fluorescent dye sensitive to the hydrophobic environment is increased.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
