PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for wet-heat sterilizing to surely sterilize lithic granular matter such as soil and sand by a wet-heat treatment; wet-heat sterilization equipment therefor; and the wet-heat sterilized lithic granular matter.;SOLUTION: High pressure steam is fed into an autoclave housing the lithic granular matter, and held for 3-4 hours under the saturated steam atmosphere of 160-180°C temperature and 6-10 Kg/cm2 pressure. By such a wet-heat sterilization method, even the lithic granular matter includes limitless number of voids, steam can forcibly invade into the voids with high pressure of 6-10 Kg/cm2; and even the microbes are spore-forming bacteria having very high durability, they are annihilated due to such high temperature steam of 160-180°C; through the synergistic effects of these, microbes such as bacteria proliferating not only on the surface of the lithic granular matter but also inside the voids thereof can be surely annihilated so that very high sterilization performances are achieved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
