PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a highly precise synchronous position control of an increased shaftless type rotary printing machine by synchronizing the increased shaftless type rotary machine with the existing line shaft type rotary printing machine without adding a rotary encoder and the like.;SOLUTION: The electromotor drive controller 8 controls an electromotor 13 based on a velocity position pulse signal 6 output by a pulse generator (PG) 9 mounted on a line shaft (mechanical shaft) 11 and a velocity command 3 so that the velocity of the line shaft 11 may coincide with the velocity command. The frequency of the velocity pulse signal 6 is multiplied by n (n1) by a controller 21. The multiplied frequency and a mechanical phase signal 20 output by a proximity switch 19 every time a folding machine rotates are sent to a synchronous position controller 23 of the shaftless type rotary printing machine. Each synchronous position controller 23 conducts a highly precise synchronous position control of each electromotor 24 based on the output and the mechanical phase signal 20 of the controller 21, a velocity position detecting signal 26 of the output of the rotary encoder 25, and a mechanical phase signal 33 of the output of the proximity switch 32.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
