FORMING APPARATUS FOR CARCASS PLY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING REFORMED CARCASS PLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adhesion by facilitating peeling of a fixing member pressing a carcass ply from the carcass ply in forming a side end part of the carcass ply.;SOLUTION: A carcass ply on a mount 10 is pressed down and fixed by pressing a fixing member 30 toward the carcass ply 50 along positions for forming a formed part 51 of the carcass ply 50, and a forming roll 20 is pressed toward the carcass ply 50 and moved along the positions for forming a formed part 51. The forming roll 20 is pressed toward the carcass ply 50 to push into a recessed groove 11 of the mount 10 and carry out plastic deformation in order, and the side end part of the carcass ply 50 is bent to form the formed part 51. A contact surface 32 of the fixing member 30 coming into contact with the carcass ply 50 is surface-treated to impart peelability to the carcass ply 50, and, after the forming, the fixing member 30 is peeled from the carcass ply 50 and raised to release the fixing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
