PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gage guide device of a punch for official work capable of reducing the degree of load on the hand of the user due to frictional resistance when a gage is drawn and stored.;SOLUTION: This gage guide device of a punch for official work includes a first guide member 4d for slidably supporting and guiding a gage 3d and a means for positioning a paper punching position by aligning the end of paper with the projecting end 5d of the gage 3d. A first locking member 20 is disposed along the gage 3d, and a second locking member 21 is so disposed as to be formed integrally with the gage 3d, When the slidable first lock member 20 and the locked second locking member 21 are installed, and the gage 3d is moved along the first guide member 4d to a position 24 where the first locking member 20 is locked to the second locking member 21, the first locking member 20 and the second locking member 21 are locked to each other, and the first locking member 20 holds the second locking member 21.
