PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compasses writing implement (1)including: a compass body (2) having two compass legs (5 and 6) supported relatively pivotably between a closed leg state and an opened leg state; a writing core (15) held by the pivotable leg (5); and a protective cap (3) attached to or capped on the free end (35 and 36) of the pivotable compass leg (5) holding at least the writing core (15), with at least the free end (35 and 36) turned outward in the closed leg state of both the compass legs (5 and 6), so as to cover the free end.;SOLUTION: The protective cap (3) has a through-opening (33) for a writing core (15) at the end (32) opposite to the compass body (2) in the attachment state thereof. The writing core (15) and the capped protective cap (3) can move relatively between the exposure state where the tip end (37) of the writing core (15) protrudes outward from the through-opening (33) and the accommodation state where the writing core (15) is pulled in the protective cap (3).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
