PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen management device, a screen management system, a screen management method, a screen management program, and a recording medium recorded with the program which can generate data configuring a display screen according to the hardware specifications of a display device installed in an apparatus.;SOLUTION: A screen management device 100 is the device, to which equipment 200 including an image processor is connected through a prescribed data transmission path 90, and includes: an acquisition means 23 for acquiring the hardware information of a display device installed in the equipment 200; an optimization means 251 for optimizing screen configurations by changing screen configuration data 41 defining the configurations of a display screen W included in a definition file 31 associated with the equipment 200 to data corresponding to the hardware specifications of the display device based on the hardware information of the display device acquired by the acquisition means 23; and a transmission means 27 for transmitting the definition file 31 including the screen configuration data 41 changed by the optimization means 251 to the equipment 200.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
