PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high heat resistance and reliability solar cell achieved by improving light collecting and optoelectric conversion efficiency, a light collection type solar power generation module, and a method for manufacturing the solar cell.;SOLUTION: The solar cell 10 includes an incidence plane 31 for allowing a solar light Ls to be incident therein, a column shaped optical member 30 having a light irradiation plane 32 that is disposed opposite to a solar cell element 11 to irradiate the solar light Ls onto the solar cell element 11, and a holding portion 40 for holding the column shaped optical member 30. The holding portion 40 includes a contact frame 41 that not only is in contact with a side surface 33 of the column shaped optical member 30 but also has the thickness t in a direction from the incidence plane 31 to the irradiation plane 32, and a holding body 42 for holding the contact frame 41 disposed away from the column shaped optical member 30. A side surface 33 of the column shaped optical member 30 is inclined so that the solar light Ls is totally reflected in a direction of the irradiation plane 32. The incidence plane 31 of the column shaped optical member 30 is designed to be a size so that an incidence plane light collection flux region FLRd formed by the solar light Ls is disposed inside thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
