PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web page editing program and a web page editor for editing a target web page displayed in a preview area, on the preview area. PSOLUTION: A computer functions as the following means: a page interpretation means 41 interpreting a web page; an overlay generation means 42 recognizing parts constituting the web page and producing overlay elements to be overlaid on the parts; a behavior decision means 43 associating new behavior of the parts constituting the web page with the overlay elements; a composition means adding descriptions of the overlay elements where a new behavior of the parts constituting the web page is associated with a file describing the web page; and a control means providing the file combined with the overlay elements, to a browsing program to display the web page with the overlay elements superimposed thereon in the preview area.
