PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film joined body which does not generate a step difference between the ends of films and the adhesion of a leaking adhesive or the like to a product, and has proper sprocket holes in a butting part, and to provide a splicing tape for forming the same and a method for joining films by the splicing tape. PSOLUTION: The splicing tape 20 or 24, wherein the ends of films are butted and stuck so that the tape straddles the ends, includes a polyimide core material sheet 4 which is provided with a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 6 on one surface, a protective tape 8 arranged as being releasable via the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 6, and, in some case, a reinforcing tape 22 arranged on the other surface. Through-holes 122, 144 which are slightly larger to correspond to the sprocket holes are formed in the polyimide core material sheet 4, the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 6 and the protective tape 8, and the ends of films 10, 10 are stuck using the tape.
