PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correct answer determining apparatus for determining a combination of words useful for replacing an unknown word included in text information with a known word. PSOLUTION: The correct answer determining apparatus segments first text information composed of a plurality of words and second document information in which any word of the plurality of words included in the first text information is replaced with another word into a plurality of words, compares a word segmented by an analysis unit with a previously stored known word, determines the segmented word as the known word if it is stored previously, determines the segmented word as an unknown word if the divided word is not stored previously, and on the basis of the determination result, detects a combination of words such that a word based on the first text information is an unknown word and a word based on the second text information corresponding to a word based on the first text information is a known word.
