PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press which can easily suppress a fluctuation in bottom dead center of a slide even when the temperature of a surrounding environment is changed.;SOLUTION: The press includes a lubricating oil circulating means 34 that circulates a lubricating oil through a press body 4, a cooling means 44 that cools the lubricating oil being circulated by the lubricating oil circulating means 34, a heating means 46 that heats the lubricating oil being circulated by the lubricating oil circulating means 34, a control unit that controls the cooling means 44 and the heating means 46, and a lubricating oil temperature detecting means 52 that detects the temperature of the lubricating oil being circulated by the lubricating oil circulating means 34. The control unit controls the cooling means 44 and/or the heating means 46 based on the temperature detected by the lubricating oil temperature detecting means 52 after the start of pressing operation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
