PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground reinforcing method using recycled plastic piles that can make effective use of resources and acquire required bearing power without uselessly increasing or enlarging piles.;SOLUTION: The piles 1 are allowed to penetrate the ground 9 to reinforce the ground 9 and to construct a composite foundation 3 that obtains bearing power with both the piles 1 and a spread foundation 2. The pile 1 is made of solid recycled plastic. The long-term ground contact pressure N of the foundation is determined, and the long-term allowable bearing unit capacity qra of the reinforced ground is obtained by an expression qra=(1/3)[qd-1.6(Pd/A)]. A load foundation area A per pile in which a relationship between the long-term allowable bearing unit capacity qra and long-term ground contact pressure N satisfies N≤qra, and pile ultimate bearing power Pd are determined.
