METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEASURING FREQUENCY CHARACTERISTIC OF INTERNAL IMPEDANCE OF FUEL CELL

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively, easily, and highly accurately measure the frequency characteristics of the internal impedance of a fuel cell. PSOLUTION: A resistance value of a resistor to be measured connected to a fuel cell to be measured is switched over between a first resistance value RmSBon/SBand a second resistance value RmSBoff/SBto detect a voltage value vm of the voltage across the resistor to be measured when switched over to the first resistance value RmSBon/SBand a voltage value vm' of the voltage across the resistor to be measured when switched over to the second resistance value RmSBoff/SB. The internal impedance of the fuel cell is computed on the basis of two detected voltage values vm and vm' the first and second resistance values RmSBon/SBand RmSBoff/SB. By sweeping the switching period of the resistance values of the resistor to be measured, the frequency characteristics of the internal impedance of the fuel cell are obtained.
