TIP SEAL INSTALLATION METHOD AND TIP SEAL INSTALLATION DEVICE FOR SCROLL TYPE FLUID MACHINE, AND SCROLL TYPE FLUID MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a tip seal with constant press-in dimensions over a whole length when the tip seal is installed in a seal groove of a lap part.;SOLUTION: A tip seal installation device 21 is constructed to press in and install a tip seal 19 to a seal groove 12 provided with a lap part 11 by relatively moving a seal press in mechanism 26 in a scroll direction of the lap part 11. Consequently, the tip seal installation device 21 can constantly press in the tip seal 19 into the seal groove 12 over the whole length by mechanically pressing the tip seal 19 in the seal groove 12, and make projection quantity of the tip seal 19 constant. A sliding surface can be stuck to a tooth bottom surface of a mating end plate and air-tightness can be improved by preventing swell of a sliding surface of the tip seal 19.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
