PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently form projections with high dimensional accuracy by cutting tip parts of original form projections cast together with scrolls.;SOLUTION: The projections 14, 19 having tip inclined face parts 16, 21 and the like are formed on an outer peripheral face 3A and an inner peripheral face 3B of a lap part 3 of the fixed scroll 1. These projections 14, 19 are formed by integrally forming a scroll base material 1' and the plurality of original form projections 24 by a casting means and cutting the tip parts of each of the original form projections 24. At the time of operation of a compressor, sealing performance of each compression chamber 13 is enhanced by bringing each of the projections 14, 19 into closest to a lap part 12 of the turning scroll 10. This makes it possible to form each of the original form projections 24 with minimum dimensional accuracy, at the time of manufacturing of the fixed scroll 1.
