PERITONEAL FUNCTION TESTING METHOD AND PERITONEAL DIALYSIS PLANNING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peritoneal function testing method and a peritoneal dialysis planning apparatus which is instrumental for future diagnosis prescription by accurately analyzing the peritoneal function (peritoneal hyperergasia mechanism) of a peritoneal dialysis patient while using various data based on a conventional method.;SOLUTION: Data acquired from a patient are input to the peritoneal dialysis planning apparatus utilizing PC. The apparatus suitably computes a Pyle-Popovich expression and a three-pore-theory expression. Based on the computed result, the ratio MTACun/c is obtained from MTACun of urea nitrogen and MTACc of creatinine, and then used as a test parameter of the peritoneal hyperergasia mechanism. A graph of MTACun/c-indicating the amount of removed water, for instance, is displayed on a display 10 of PC 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
