PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the predicting efficiency of the dynamic characteristics of a structure configured of composite materials whose host phase is reinforced by long fiber reinforcing materials. PSOLUTION: The reinforcement code of a tire is modeled as a shape whose cross-sectional shape is not changed (step S101). Then, a tensile modulus elasticity Et and compressive modulus elasticity Ec of the reinforcement code are inputted so that EtEc can be fulfilled (steps S102, 103). Those input values are obtained as values which are specific to the corresponding reinforcement code, and Ec/Et is established in a predetermined range. In this case, the tensile modulus elasticity Et and the compressive modulus elasticity Ec are inputted as different values so that EtEc can be fulfilled. Thus, it is possible to predict the performance of a tire with high precision even when any compression distortion is generated in the reinforcement code in cornering. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
