PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the danger of a debris flow disaster, more specifically, to provide an apparatus for determining the danger of the debris flow, for predicting the danger of occurrence of a disaster and accuracy thereof on the basis of an amount-of-rainfall determination diagram.;SOLUTION: This apparatus for determining the danger of the debris flow is comprised as follows: the effective amount of rainfall, the amount of rainfall per hour and the measured time in the previous period is stored; the latest amount of rainfall, the maximum amount of rainfall and the minimum amount of rainfall from a recorded-rainfall storage portion are acquired; the effective amount of rainfall is computed when the respective rainfall continues for a predetermined period of time from a current time; positions of first-fourth points are computed on the basis of each of the amounts of rainfall and the effective amount of rainfall on a graph having the vertical axis as the amount of rainfall per hour and the horizontal axis as the effective amount of rainfall; a ratio of an area which exceeds a value indicating a criterion of the determination of the danger prescribed on the graph with respect to a polygonal area on the graph set up by first-fourth points is computed; the accuracy of the determination of the danger is obtained; and information on the line connecting the first-fourth points and also on the determination of the danger is output.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
