PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the separation removal efficiency of magnetic foreign matter mixed in powdery granules to be transported by in-line pneumatic transportation and make production of an in-line shifter or the like easy.;SOLUTION: The in-line apparatus 31 for magnetic foreign matter removal includes a large diameter part 32, a reduced diameter part 33, a small diameter part 34, and a pipe 38 having a first aperture part 35 in an upper part of the large diameter part 32, a second aperture part 36 in the left side face, and a third aperture part 37 in the right side face. The inside of the large diameter part 32 becomes a magnetic removal chamber 39 and the first aperture part 35 is connected to the lower end of a mixed gas discharge part 10 and accordingly a mixed gas containing the powdery granules with minus sieve is received and the mixed gas is sent out to a pneumatic transportation line L2 through the third aperture part 37. The in-line apparatus 31 includes a magnetic foreign matter removal unit 50 attached to the pipe 38 in freely detachable manner for removing magnetic foreign matter mixed with the mixed gas. Ferrules 41 (refer to the drawing) are formed in both of the lower end parts of the first aperture part 35 and the mixed gas discharge part 10 and the ferrules are loosely fastened by clamps 42, so that the in-line apparatus 31 for magnetic foreign matter removal and the mixed gas discharge part 10 are made freely detachable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
