AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEEL SHEET FOR PRESS FORMING WITH FINE-GRAINED STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an austenitic stainless steel sheet for press forming with a fine-grained structure where season cracking as the defect of austenitic stainless steel is conquered by the refining effect of crystal grains, and the improvement of press formability is attained without depending on strict componential regulation and the addition of alloy elements.;SOLUTION: The austenitic stainless steel sheet for press forming with the fine-grained structure has steel components comprising, by mass, ≤0.1% C, 14 to 19% Cr, ≤2% Si, ≤4% Mn, 5 to 8% Ni, ≤4% Cu, ≤0.1% N, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and in which the value of Md is in the range of -20 to 40, and the average crystal grain size is ≤10 μm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
