PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a skill of a worker on the basis of work performance of the worker.;SOLUTION: A skill management system includes a worker position transmitter 2a and a skill management device 1. The worker position transmitter 2a obtains a work area ID where the worker is positioned and transmits worker position data including a worker ID and the work area ID. The skill management device 1 includes: a worker position data acquisition means which receives the worker position data, and then stores them into a memory in association with a time of day, calculates working hours in the work area of the worker according to the time of day associated with the worker ID and the work area ID with prescribed timing, and stores working hours data linking the worker ID, the work area ID, and the working hours; and a working hours update means for converting the work area ID stored in the working hours data into a work ID and updating a performance time associated with the worker ID and the work ID of the worker data on the basis of the working hours of the working hours data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
