PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottleneck announcing device for an electronic component mounting line for allowing an operator to quickly obtain an electronic component mounting device becoming a bottleneck in the electronic component mounting line, so as to quickly take a necessary action, and to provide a bottleneck announcing method for the electronic component mounting line.;SOLUTION: The bottleneck announcing device includes: a work performance time calculating means 34 for calculating the work performance time T of each mounting device 2; a bottleneck detecting means (the bottleneck detection unit 33b of a host computer 33) for detecting the mounting device 2 becoming the bottleneck in the mounting line 1 based on the calculated work performance time T of each mounting device 2; and an image display part control means 35 for changing the background color of a screen in an image display part 28 held in the detected mounting device 2 into a prescribed color when the mounting device 2 becoming the bottleneck in the mounting line 1 is detected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
