PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slow-release setting retarder which is hardly influenced by temperature and capable of exhibiting a retardation effect in a slow-release manner, in the retardation of setting/hardening due to hydration reaction of cement, and also to provide a cement-setting adjustment method for adjusting the setting time by adding the setting retarder to cement.;SOLUTION: This setting retarder is used as a cement additive and has a setting-retardation component the surface of which is partly covered with a water-insoluble deposited material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
