PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw material which reinforces a salt taste, can thereby reduce the content of sodium, while maintaining a taste touch such as a palatability or body taste. PSOLUTION: This taste-reinforcing agent is characterized by comprising spilanthol which is an extract originated from Spilanthes acmella or Spilanthes acmella var. oleracea, and a shallot and/or onion extract.
