PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifying device and an air cleaner with a humidifying function capable of improving humidifying efficiency while preventing the water of a humidifying unit as large droplets from scattering to the outside of the cleaner.;SOLUTION: In this air cleaner 1, the air is taken into a flow channel 15 from an inlet 8, and discharged from an outlet 9 after flowing to a flow channel 15. The humidifying unit 20 humidifies the air by exposing a part wetted by the water of a pan 22 to the air flowing in the flow channel 15. In a body case 2, a net 76 made of a water absorbing material and partially submerged in the water of the pan 22 is disposed between the outlet 9 and the humidifying unit 20. As the net 76 has mesh smaller than water droplets of a prescribed size scattering from the humidifying unit 20, the water droplets of a size larger than the prescribed size scattering from the humidifying unit 20 can be prevented from reaching the outside of the cleaner from the outlet 9 through the net 76.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
