PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a ceramic building material having high strength and freezing resistance without lowering productivity and constructibility or without increase in manufacturing cost.;SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a ceramic building material, in which a feed material slurry which contains at least a cement component as a solid content, is made into paper, extruded, or cast to obtain a wet board, then it is molded and cured into a ceramic building material, in this method, a scarcely water-soluble calcium compound or a scarcely water-soluble magnesium compound is added to the feed material slurry at 5-10 wt% to the cement content, and the wet board is cured in an autoclave after molding.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
