PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for screening a compound which inhibits the formation of a STAT3, NF-κB p65, and p300 complex.;SOLUTION: This method for screening the compound which inhibits the formation of the STAT3, NF-κB p65, and p300 complex comprises bringing a compound to be tested into contact with a STAT3, NF-κB p65, and p300 complex-dissociated product, lowering the salt concentration of the obtained solution to a salt concentration for forming the STAT3, NF-κB p65, and p300 complex, and then detecting the presence or absence of the formation of the complex with an oligonucleotide probe for detecting the STAT3, NF-κB p65, and p300 complex.
