PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the iron tapping time by stabilizing the balance of tapping iron slag and reducing the number of the iron tappings. ;SOLUTION: When an iron tapping hole 7 is plugged, mud pushing quantity pushed from the iron tapping hole 7 to a furnace hearth part is reduced, to enlarge the space between a mud piling layer 5 and a coke packing layer 4 and thus, the fluidity of the molten iron and slag 9 in this space is improved and the iron tapping slag quantity is increased. Oppositely, when the iron tapping slag quantity is reduced, the mud pushing quantity is increased to reduce the space between the mud piling layer 5 and the coke packing layer 4, and thus, the fluidity of the molten iron slag in this space is lowered.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
