PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely achieve the tapped molten iron and slag quantity in a target molten iron and slag tapping time by controlling the tapping speed of the molten iron and slag from a molten iron tapping hole of the blast furnace. ;SOLUTION: At the stage when the quantity of tapped molten iron and slag becomes larger than that of the molten iron and slag making in the furnace by enlargement of the opening hole diameter caused by wearing of a mud of the molten iron tapping hole 2 during tapping the molten iron and slag after opening the mud packed in the molten iron tapping hole 2 of the blast furnace 1, a cylindrical refractory attachable/ detachable nozzle 9A having a through-hole at the center part is press-fixed to the tip part of the molten iron tapping hole 2 to restrain the tapped molten iron and slag quantity. At the stage when the quantity of tapped molten iron and slag becomes larger than that of the molten iron and slag making in the furnace caused by the wearing of the attachable/detachable nozzle 9A, a process adding by press-fixing the following attachable/detachable nozzle 9B to the tip part of attachable/detachable nozzle 9A and further, press-fixing an attachable/detachable nozzle 9C when the attachable-detachable nozzle 9B wears, is repeated to achieve the tapped molten iron and slag quantity in the target molten iron an slag tapping time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
