PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously measure the offensive smell of various exhaust gases from cement manufacturing equipment to enable the accurate control of the cement manufacturing equipment on the basis of an offensive smell index.;SOLUTION: A sampling part 13 for extracting a part of the exhaust gas from a cement kiln 4 is provided with a total hydrocarbon measuring instrument 14 for measuring the total amount of hydrocarbon in the exhaust gas, a carbon monoxide amount measuring instrument 15 for measuring the amount of carbon monoxide in the exhaust gas, a nitrogen oxide measuring instrument 16 for measuring the amount of nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas, a total hydrocarbon amount correcting means 17 for correcting the measured value of the total hydrocarbon measuring instrument 14 on the basis of the measured value of the carbon monoxide amount measuring instrument 15, a nitrogen dioxide estimating means 18 for estimating the amount of nitrogen dioxide after a predetermined time from the measuring result of the nitrogen oxide measuring instrument 16, and an offensive smell index estimating means 19 for estimating the offensive smell index of the exhaust gas from the total hydrocarbon amount corrected by the total hydrocarbon amount correcting means 17 and the amount of nitrogen dioxide estimated by the nitrogen dioxide estimating means 18.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
