PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for preventing noise reflection of a vehicle capable of reducing the noise of a current collection system reflecting by a sound insulating board with a simple structure.;SOLUTION: As shown in (A), when a vehicle 4 travels on a downline 2A, a sound insulating board 6 is protruded and a sound insulating board 7 is stored. Generally speaking, when the vehicle 4 travels on the downline 2A, the priority of the noise countermeasures is higher on a wayside W₁ side closer to the downline 2A than on a wayside W₂ side farther from the downline 2A, and the noise countermeasures are emphasized. Thus, when the sound insulating board 7 does not reflect the noise of a current collection system to the wayside W₁ side, and the noise on the wayside W₁ side is reduced. On the other hand, as shown in (B), when the vehicle 4 traveling on the downline 2A is returned at a terminal station, and travels on an upline 2B, the sound insulating board 6 is stored and the sound insulating board 7 is protruded.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
