PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parameter identification method for specifying a controlled object parameter even in an on-line state at a job site by making it unnecessary to provide any largely scaled algorithm.;SOLUTION: This system having a controlled object which can be approximated by a mathematical model, and whose transmission function has an unknown parameter includes: preparing a state variable control block by developing the transmission function of a controlled object into a state variable diagram on the basis of the mathematical model; inputting an input (u) to the controlled object even to a state variable control block; calculating a deviation (e) between the output Ym of the state variable control block and the output Yp of the control object; and adding the deviation (e) and the integrated value or differential value of the deviation (e) after multiplying one of them by coefficients; inputting an added value (h) to a signum function which outputs +1 when the added value (h) is larger than 0, and -1 when the added value (h) is smaller than 0; and using the integrated value acquired by integrating the output f of the signum function as the operation input of the state variable control block to change the coefficients of the feedthrough term (relation of the input (u) and the output Yp or the output Ym when the input (u) is changed and the time becomes infinite) to state variables of the state variable control block.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
