PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paint for a pottery, which is easy to handle and can perform new coloring expression, and to provide a method for using the paint.;SOLUTION: This paint contains at least a coloring base material and a water-soluble binder. The water-soluble binder is a polyalkylene oxide water-soluble resin. When the paint is applied on the surface of a biscuit fired article, a glaze applied on the biscuit fired article and dried, or a fired glaze by brush painting or stamp printing, the paint can freely exhibit color without necessitating pretreatment of the glaze surface comprising adding a paste material or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
